  1. What a blessed week of VBS! 105 kids attended VBS this past week, with an average daily attendance of 95. 21 of them received Christ as their personal Savior, with over $700 of offering to our VBS missionaries, Samantha and Steven Mockford. We thank God for our VBS director Melissa and the over 50 VBS staff who served in this wonderful summer children ministry, their hard work and showing their love for the kids.
  2. Heavenly Dew semi-annual publication is ready to be picked up at the back of the sanctuary. Please pick up a copy for your family.
  3. Summer Camp on 7/28-30. The theme is Give Me Jesus. Check-in starts at 4:30 on 7/28, dinner from 6 to 8 PM, and first message starts at 8:15 PM. Camp management suggests using the Mt. Hermon Rd exit off Hwy CA-17 in Scotts Valley. More information can be found on our church website.
  4. Special arrangements on Summer Camp Sunday. There is no English worship and Sunday School on 7/30. Please plan to worship at another church in your area if you are not attending Summer Camp. There is a combined Mandarin and Cantonese worship at 11:30 AM, but no Chinese Sunday School or fellowship lunch on 7/30.
  5. The memorial service for Brother Du HuoGen will be held in our church sanctuary on 7/30 at 4:00 PM. Please continue to pray for God’s comfort and strength for his family.
  6. Church Council meeting will be held on 8/13 at 1:30 PM. All church council members please plan to attend.
  7. Pastor David is starting a new Cantonese Career Fellowship on Friday evenings for the young career folks. The goal is to minister to and grow the next generation leaders for God’s kingdom. If you know of people that this new fellowship will be a good fit, please refer them to our church website for more information.
  8. Please consider supporting the flower ministry. You can sign up in the back of the sanctuary.
