Missons

[Genesis 12:1-3] Now the LORD said to Abram, “Go forth from your country, and from your relatives and from your father’s house, to the land which I will show you; and I will make you a great nation, and I will bless you, and make your name great; and so you shall be a blessing; and I will bless those who bless you, and the one who curses you I will curse. And in you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

God’s mandate to Abraham was for him to leave his homeland and journey to a land that God would show him. God promised that he would be a blessing and that through him all peoples on earth would be blessed. This mission is true for all believers today.

At TCCBC, our desire is to be a blessing to a our local community and the world through partnering and supporting full-time missionaries in the field and through direct involvement from our congregation in activities that carry the gospel to those who need it most.

Telegraph Ministry

Telegraph Ministry Center is a ministry of East Bay Baptist Association, meeting the needs of poor and hungry folks in the North Oakland area. The center distributes food several days a week, and serves as a meeting site for new church starts. TCCBC supports this ministry and provides volunteers to help with food and gift distribution during the Thanksgiving and Christmas seasons.

Operation Christmas Child

Since 1993, more than 100 million boys and girls in over 130 countries have experienced God’s love through the power of simple shoebox gifts from Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan’s Purse works with local churches and ministry partners to deliver the gifts and share the life-changing Good News of Jesus Christ. TCCBC supports this ministry and sends shoebox gifts to Operation Christmas Child every year. Our church has also been serving as a collection center since 2015.
