National Collection Week is November 14-21 for Operation Christmas Child! Please consider packing a shoebox for a child who may not receive any presents. This is an excellent way for that child to hear the gospel when he/she receives a shoebox. If you packed a shoebox before, consider packing one more. We would love to be able to offer more shoeboxes this year than last year because of your generosity. There is also “Build a shoebox online” option if you are not able to go out to shop.
A $10 donation per shoebox gift is critical to provide for shipping, processing, and Gospel materials for the child. Please consider giving online.
When you arrive at your drop-off location, follow the signs for curbside drop off. A volunteer wearing a mask will greet you and direct you to an outside area where they will retrieve your shoeboxes. Volunteers will also present you with a touchless way to leave your contact information and the number of shoeboxes that you are dropping off.
Our Church is also a “Drop Off Location” again this year. We are looking for volunteers to help with Curbside Drop-off on November 14-21. We will need volunteers to help greet donors, to pray for the shoeboxes, to pack the shoeboxes into cartons and to deliver the cartons to the central drop off location in Pleasanton (someone with a van or SUV). If you have never done this before (and even if you have), we will train you.
